Dutch as a second language

Do you want to learn the Dutch language or you want to improve your skills? Maybe you have some friends or collegues to join you. Or maybe you want to learn the Dutch language all by yourself, at your own pace. In any case, it is important to be able to learn the way that fits the best in your situation. We use a book to learn the basic vocabulary and grammar but we make our own maps with the vocabulary and structures belonging to your specific situation. When you work in a restaurant, you need other skills than when you are working in a factory. When you are still studying and you want to learn the basic of the Dutch language, it is more useful to make a more general map. The lessons are based on the 'lexical approach' of the American Michael Lewis. His philosophy is to learn the language in the way it is used in the meaningful context and to be able to understand the lexical phrases as 'chunks' or 'collocations'.

The intake is always free of charge. Together we discuss your needs, the frequency of lessons and the costs. In our lessons we make a plan to let you learn the way that suits you best and costs you the least.
